First Annual Jewelry Collective

We were absolutely blown away by the amazing variety of unique jewelry that our customers & students submitted to our First Annual Jewelry Collective! We wanted to share with you a few examples of the handmade jewelry that was featured at the shop from Thursday, December 19th through Sunday, December 22nd, 2013. Thank you to all of the amazing artists who helped make the Collective successful, and we’ll see you same time next year!

  1. I submitted photos and was accepted , however didn’t notice the “novice” on your email until after I had submitted my photos. I am a step up from novice as I do have jewelry in two stores and I have my own open studio as well. Can I still participate in your show on the 19th. Mona Reeva

    • Hi Mona,

Thanks for your question! A few other folks who have been accepted are at a similar jewelry level to you. What we have told all participants is that as long as the jewelry pieces are made primarily of beads, are cool & unique, and are all handmade, you’re in good shape!

  2. When you say “one nice photo”, does that mean all your jewelry as a collective or for each piece that is being submitted? Thanks, Kim

    • Thanks for your question, Kim! “One nice photo” just means one photo of a piece that best represents the types of items you’d like to feature. It can be a combination of pieces, too, but the photo does not have to include all pieces you plan to submit. Looking forward to receiving your submission soon!

  3. I have been selected. About the ten pieces or as I say, (peaces) – will the ten peaces just be featured and hopefully sold the day of the jewelry collective? Or will we provide more peaces to be featured in the store after? Being the fact the collective is Thursday, Dec. 19th until Sunday, Dec. 22nd. I am not to sure how the process is to work.

    • Thanks for your question, Ericka! Participants work will only be featured in the shop during the Jewelry Collective. Unfortunately, we don’t have the room to feature everyone’s jewelry all the time, but like you said — hopefully you’ll sell all of your lovely pieces during the show!
