Creative Use of Color

Considering Blue Door Beads is located in the San Francisco Bay Area, we are fortunate enough to expect 60+ degree weather all this week, peaking at 70 degrees on Friday. We know there are folks in other parts of the country right now who aren’t as fortunate, so we wanted to bring a little color into their lives with a post featuring some creative uses of color in jewelry!

PoppyHuesWe’ve sung this website’s praises before, and we’ll do it again: if you are looking for inspiring color palettes for your next jewelry design, look no further than design-seeds.com. They post new palettes every day (at left), and you can spend hours (trust us — we have!) browsing through their extensive catalog of color combinations.

We also found some beautiful jewelry pieces that use either bright & vibrant, or just flat-out unusual color combinations, and we wanted to share. Enjoy!
